Day wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Munnar
- Arrive in Munnar by road, typically from Kochi (approximately 4 hours drive).
- Check-in at the hotel.
- Visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history of tea production in Munnar.
- Head to Mattupetty Dam for boating and scenic views.
- Visit Echo Point, known for its natural echo phenomenon.
- Spend time at Kundala Lake, famous for pedal boating.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Exploring Munnar
- After breakfast, visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
- Enjoy views of Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India.
- Visit the Rose Garden, showcasing a variety of flowers.
- Explore Photo Point for scenic photographs with tea gardens in the background.
- Visit Blossom Park for a relaxing stroll.
- Spend time at Pothamedu View Point for panoramic views of tea, coffee, and cardamom plantations.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (approximately 3-4 hours drive).
- Arrive in Thekkady and check in to the hotel.
- Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary for a boat cruise on Periyar Lake.
- Enjoy the rich flora and fauna of the sanctuary.
- Explore the local spice plantations.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey (Houseboat Stay)
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (approximately 4-5 hours drive).
- Arrive in Alleppey and board your houseboat.
- Enjoy a traditional Kerala lunch on the houseboat while cruising through serene backwaters.
- Visit narrow canals and waterways.
- Enjoy a sunset from the deck of the houseboat.
- Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 5: Alleppey to Kovalam
- After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and check out.
- Drive to Kovalam (approximately 4 hours drive).
- Arrive in Kovalam and check in to the hotel.
- Visit the famous Kovalam Beach and relax by the seaside.
- Explore the Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach, and Samudra Beach.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Departure from Kovalam
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Trivandrum (if time permits).
- Drive to Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
- Conclude your tour with beautiful memories of Munnar's hills, Thekkady's wildlife, Alleppey's backwaters, and Kovalam's beaches.
