Eastern Himalayan Delight : 4 Nights/5 Days
Day wise Itinerary
Day 1: IXB – Gangtok (120 km / 4.5 Hrs.)
- Upon arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will have an assisted transfer to Gangtok.
- Complete the check-in formalities at the hotel.
- The rest of the day is free at leisure to explore or relax.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
Day 2: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir (Nathula Pass - Optional)
- After breakfast, proceed for a day trip to Tsomgo Lake, a glacial lake renowned for its stunning scenery.
- Visit Baba Mandir, a shrine dedicated to Indian soldier Harbhajan Singh.
- Return to Gangtok in the evening, where you can enjoy shopping activities.
- Optional tour to Nathula Pass (Alt 14,000 ft) on the China Border, available for Indian Nationals at an additional cost (closed on Mon, Tue).
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.
Day 3: Gangtok – Darjeeling (117 km / 5 Hrs.)
- After breakfast, transfer to Darjeeling, situated at an altitude of 6,710 ft.
- Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Rangeet River Valley on the way.
- Upon arrival, check in to the hotel.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 4: Full Day Darjeeling Local Sightseeing
- Early morning, depart to view the sunrise at Tiger Hill, a major tourist attraction.
- After breakfast, visit Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, and a local tea garden.
- Explore Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, Japanese Temple, and the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center.
- Spend the afternoon shopping at local markets like Ghoom Monastery Market, Batasia Loop Market, and Chowk Bazaar.
- Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
Day 5: Darjeeling – IXB Airport (80 km / 3 Hrs.)
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport.
- Connect to your onward flight with fond memories of your trip.
