Kashmir to Leh Expedition : 10-Day Adventure
Day wise Itinerary
Day 1: Srinagar to Pahalgam
- Arrive at Srinagar airport and proceed to Pahalgam, a scenic drive of about 90 kilometers.
- Check in at the hotel upon arrival and enjoy some leisure time after lunch.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Pahalgam.
Day 2: Pahalgam to Srinagar
- After breakfast, enjoy leisure activities such as walks or pony rides to scenic spots like Chandanwari, Betaab Valley, and Aaru Valley (at your own cost due to union problems).
- Return to Srinagar in the evening.
Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg to Srinagar
- After breakfast, proceed to Gulmarg where you can enjoy a pony ride and take the Gondola Ride (cable car) to Khilamarg (at your own cost).
- Return to Srinagar in the evening.
Day 4: Srinagar to Kargil
- Early check-out and drive to Kargil via the Srinagar Leh Highway.
- Enjoy a stop at Sonmarg, visit the Zojila War memorial, and pay tribute to the Indian Army at the Kargil War memorial.
- Overnight stay in Kargil.
Day 5: Kargil to Leh
- After breakfast, proceed to Leh. En route, visit Mulbek and Lamayuru monastery.
- Admire the confluence of Indus – Zanskar Rivers and visit Gurudwara Patthar Sahib.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6: Leh Local Sightseeing
- Explore Shey Palace, Thiksey, Hemis Museum, Rancho school, and Sindhu Ghat.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 7: Leh to Nubra Valley
- Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
- Visit Diskit & Hunder Villages, monasteries, and enjoy a camel ride at Sand Dunes.
- Overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 8: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
- After breakfast, proceed to Pangong Lake via the Shyok Route.
- Visit the exact location of the famous movie “Three Idiots” and enjoy the scenic beauty of Pangong Lake.
- Overnight stay in Pangong.
Day 9: Pangong Lake to Leh
- Travel back to Leh with a short halt at Changla Pass.
- Visit Shanti Stupa in the evening.
- Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 10: Departure from Leh
- After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey, concluding the tour with cherished memories.
