Day wise Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cochin
- Arrive at Cochin Airport/Railway Station.
- Check-in at the hotel.
- Visit Fort Kochi, famous for its Chinese fishing nets.
- Explore Mattancherry Palace, also known as the Dutch Palace.
- Visit the Jewish Synagogue and Jew Town.
- Enjoy a stroll along Marine Drive.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Cochin to Munnar
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Munnar (approximately 4 hours drive).
- En route, enjoy scenic views of Cheeyappara and Valara Waterfalls.
- Arrive in Munnar and check in to the hotel.
- Visit the Tea Museum to learn about the history of tea production in Munnar.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Exploring Munnar
- After breakfast, visit Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
- Enjoy views of Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India.
- Visit Mattupetty Dam for boating and scenic views.
- Explore Echo Point, known for its natural echo phenomenon.
- Spend time at Kundala Lake, famous for pedal boating.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Munnar to Thekkady
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (approximately 3-4 hours drive).
- Arrive in Thekkady and check in to the hotel.
- Visit the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary for a boat cruise on Periyar Lake.
- Enjoy the rich flora and fauna of the sanctuary.
- Explore the local spice plantations.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Thekkady to Alleppey (Houseboat Stay)
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (approximately 4-5 hours drive).
- Arrive in Alleppey and board your houseboat.
- Enjoy a traditional Kerala lunch on the houseboat while cruising through serene backwaters.
- Visit narrow canals and waterways.
- Enjoy a sunset from the deck of the houseboat.
- Dinner and overnight stay on the houseboat.
Day 6: Alleppey to Kovalam
- After breakfast on the houseboat, disembark and check out.
- Drive to Kovalam (approximately 4 hours drive).
- Arrive in Kovalam and check in to the hotel.
- Visit the famous Kovalam Beach and relax by the seaside.
- Explore the Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach, and Samudra Beach.
- Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Kovalam Sightseeing
- After breakfast, visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Trivandrum.
- Explore the Napier Museum and Chitra Art Gallery.
- Visit the Zoological Park.
- Return to Kovalam and spend the evening at leisure on the beach.
- Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8: Departure from Kovalam
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- Drive to Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey.
- Conclude your tour with beautiful memories of Cochin, Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey, and Kovalam.
