Day wise Itinerary
Day 1: CHANDIGARH – DHARAMSHALA (240 KMS / 8 HRS)
- Arrive at Chandigarh Airport or Railway Station on your own, where you will be met by our representative to start your exotic trip to Dharamshala.
- Dharamshala offers a perfect holiday setting with its tranquil waterfalls, expansive tea gardens, and a cricket stadium for sports lovers.
- The town exudes holiness due to the presence of the Dalai Lama and features Tibetan Monasteries, Mcleodganj, Palampur Valley, and a calm and peaceful environment.
- After an 8-hour drive, check into your hotel in Dharamshala.
- In the evening, enjoy leisure time visiting the Local Market and Kotwai Bazaar.
- Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: DHARAMSHALA – LOCAL SIGHTSEEING
- Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise in Dharamshala, followed by breakfast.
- Proceed for a local sightseeing tour, covering the official residence of the Dalai Lama, Mcleodganj, Bhagsunath Temple, Dharamshala International Cricket Stadium, and the local market.
- Later, proceed to the campsite at Mcleodganj.
- Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay in the camps at Mcleodganj.
Day 3: DHARAMSHALA – DALHOUSIE (145 KMS / 5-6 HRS)
- After breakfast, travel to Dalhousie, known as the "Mini Switzerland of India" due to its scenic beauty.
- Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the local market.
- Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 4: DALHOUSIE – KHAJJIAR TOUR (22 KM / 45 MINS)
- After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Dalhousie and Khajjiar.
- Khajjiar is a picturesque spot where you can spend the entire day admiring the beauty of Khajjiar Lake, exploring the 9-hole golf course, or simply enjoying the peace.
- Visit Panch Pulla, Satdhara Falls, Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary, Dainkund Peak, Bakrota Hills, and St. John’s Church.
- After the sightseeing tour, return to Dalhousie.
- Enjoy dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: DALHOUSIE – AMRITSAR (200 KM / 5 HRS)
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Amritsar.
- Upon arrival in the evening, check into your hotel.
- Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: AMRITSAR SIGHTSEEING
- After breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Amritsar.
- Visit the Golden Temple, the holiest Sikh Gurdwara made of gold, and Jallianwala Bagh, the site of the tragic massacre.
- In the afternoon, visit the Wagah Border to witness the flag-lowering ceremony held between the security forces of India and Pakistan.
- Enjoy leisure time in the evening.
- Have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Amritsar Drop
- After breakfast, check out from the hotel.
- You will be dropped off at Amritsar Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
- Depart with beautiful memories of this trip.
